On 6 August 2022, the Kocaman Pro team attended a meeting in Sakarya introducing next-generation surveying technologies, organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Surveying and Cadastre Engineers and Geoteknik Ltd.
The meeting, attended by staff of many private companies and public institutions providing surveying and cadastre services across Sakarya, focused on drone technologies, which have recently come into wide use in the sector, and on the details of projects carried out with them. After the opening talk on next-generation surveying technologies by Serkan CANİK, Sales Manager at Geoteknik Ltd., Technical Support Engineer Yasin KONYAR gave a comprehensive presentation on drones as next-generation mapping technology, which drew great interest from the participants. The presentation covered the advantages and disadvantages of two drone models widely used on the market, as well as the software used to process drone data. After the presentation, demo flights were carried out over Sakarya with both drones.
